Stolen Drivers License?

On Friday my wallet was stolen. I made a police report and called all of my credit/debit card companies and have new cards on the way. When I called the DMV they said that I could get a replacement drivers license and all I needed to do was to give then my social security number. My question is can the person who stole my drivers license use it for anything illegal?
